You were on the Costa Concordia to work or have a great time

But tragedy struck and your lives on earth you left behind

We want people to know your passing will not be in vain

You have become the catalyst for much needed change

Everyone must increase the safety for those that travel at sea

So safe traveling will be better around the world is the plea

The ultimate sacrifice you made for us all

The world should recognize and heed the call

Justice for you, we should all want to seek

You are our heroes, and for you we shall speak

To your loved ones that suffered such a horrible loss

We always wonder why your family had to pay such a high cost

Hopefully, your loved ones will keep their memories as a treasure

And we will remember to honor these thirty-two people forever and ever.
